Scott Burns serves as an advisor for the investors in GMFC and focuses on risk management.  Scott is currently President of River Raisin Investment Partners, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) in Monroe, MI. He works with a select group of families and companies on wealth management, financial planning, and retirement planning.  Scott has been in the investment field since 2006 and earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation from the College for Financial Planning in 2009.

Prior to founding River Raisin Investment Partners, Scott held financial advisor positions with national Broker Dealer firms.  Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Finance from Western Michigan University.

Scott is active in the community, serving as President of The Monroe Public Schools Education Foundation and MPS Scholarship Fund.
